When I got my new sprint/nextel phone back in June, I signed up for unlimited minutes and texting. The minutes I knew I needed. I talk way too much on my cell and the overages were driving my hubby crazy. The texting part of my plan wasn't such a big deal at the time for me. Little did I know.
To date, I have become quite the texter. A good example was yesterday. I had text conversations with at least 6 different people through out the day. It is so quick way to throw a line of communication out to someone without disturbing the rhythm of the day. I love it. And it's got a complete language of it's own. I think of quicker spellings of words every time I text. It it so fun.
The best part of yesterday was Ben. The world of words and language has really opened up for Ben this year. He is starting to enjoy reading and this is reflected in his daily activities and his curiosity about texting. We were in the car waiting for Jay after my dad's birthday party and I got my phone out to text my niece. Ben started asking all these questions and before I knew, he had entered into the world of text. Am I truly ready for this? LOL

I'm trying to stay away from there, but I know that I will be sucked in sooner probably than later.
I can barely remember what it was like before computers and cell phones, can u?
Heather and I are both avid Texters. I "text her up" all the time and she returns the favor. We do about 300-600 a month I think. Since she can't talk on the phone at work, texting works great.
Guys, I can't remember life without computers or cell phones. Is that sad?
